We’ve been seeing quite a bit of Jamil Alam of Endeavor Real Estate around the hood lately. He attended last night’s Neighborhood Association meeting, as well as the last North Loop Planning Team meeting. He hasn’t approached the NA leadership with any new plans, leaving us to wonder why he’s hanging around so much. Mr. Alam, if you’re reading this, would you care to fill us in on your plans? We’re all ears. Hopefully you’ve been working on a reasonably-scaled, neighborhood-friendly plan for your property on Koenig. (For those who don’t know, Endeavor now owns the Parker Beauty Supply building, which has been vacant for months.)

Increased traffic flow throughout Northfield is one likely effect of development at the Howard site. Northfield is bound by Lamar, Airport, Koenig and 51st. I would hope that future development doesn’t create more traffic within those borders.
